Land Use Classification for Long Island Creek, 2009
A land cover classification was performed on the Long Island Creek watershed for 2009 using Landsat5 imagery. The classification parameters were provided by the Atlanta Regional Commission. Upon completeion of the classification and analysis it was determined that percentage of impervious surfaces for this watershed during 2009 was 23.8%.
The following table is a complete breakdown of the individual classes and their respective values pertaining to land use percentages:
